An aerial view captures a long-time visitor to Duluth, the Lee A. Tregurtha, a vessel in service since 1942. Her clean lines and enduring design have stood the test of time—and continue to carry her forward across the waters of Lake Superior.
Originally built as the WWII tanker Mobiloil, she is now one of the oldest active ships on the Great Lakes—still working, still reliable, more than 80 years later. What passes through the canal here is more than a freighter; it is a living piece of maritime history, quietly doing its job.
Much like the lighthouse standing watch nearby, steady and faithful year after year. Age, in itself, matters little when you actively serve with purpose, for others, and for the glory of God.

Although youth seems long and full, the years fly by quickly. Embrace each day you have, and remember—if Jesus Christ is your Lord and Savior, greater things await you.
This is such a great message for life. Even if we don't know the impact of our life to the rest of the world around us. Our Lord Jesus dose know and has given us the opportunity of life to participate in his work of reconciliation of people to God in relationship of Love.
