Perfect Design
Sometimes, the smallest details are the most fascinating. For this photo, I set up my camera to capture a water drop falling into a bowl of water. Using a special timer, I caught the instant the drop hit the surface of the water in the bowl. The background color is from a sheet of colored paper.
At first, this looks like a simple splash: a droplet suspended above a crown of water. But in this brief moment, you see something incredible—the physical properties that sustain life on Earth.
When a drop hits the water’s surface, the surface acts like a stretched elastic sheet. Water molecules have strong atomic bonds. In this frozen moment of motion, we witness more than a simple splash — we glimpse the intentional design woven into creation itself. A single drop of water rises, forms a delicate crown, and releases a tiny sphere back into the air. Though the event lasts only milliseconds, it reveals physical laws that quietly sustain life across the entire planet.
Scripture reminds us that water is never random. From rainfall nourishing fields to rivers shaping landscapes, God designed water to move with purpose — carrying life, restoring ecosystems, and sustaining every living organism. The same surface tension and cohesion that sculpt this tiny crown are the forces that lift water through trees, stabilize oceans, and regulate Earth’s climate.

What we see here is a reminder that creation is not chaotic — it is intentional. Even the smallest drop reflects order, balance, and provision. In moments like this, science does not compete with faith — it amplifies wonder. Every ripple, every raindrop, every flowing stream quietly testifies to a Creator who designed life to flourish.
