About
I have been a nature photographer for most of my seventy-plus years, and it never grows old. The practice of seeing—of learning how to observe—deepens each day. It draws our attention beyond ourselves, toward something larger and more enduring.
The seasons reflect the flow of life.
Day by day passes almost unnoticed, yet each day belongs to a week, a month, a season. Seasons turn into years, and years quietly shape the story of our lives. What feels ordinary in the moment often reveals its meaning only with time.
Nature invites us to look more closely. Scripture helps us understand what we are seeing.
“The heavens declare the glory of God;
the skies proclaim the work of his hands.” — Psalm 19:1
Creation catches our attention; the Word of God helps us see through the veil. Nature points beyond itself, and through Scripture we come to know not only the beauty of creation, but the Creator who stands behind it.
Each image shared here was photographed on the same day of the year as its title—sometimes recently, sometimes decades ago. Photography allows us to step back into a brief moment, to pause and reflect on what once was and what continues to return.
My hope is that, as you move through these images, you’ll find space to slow down, notice more deeply, and reflect on the seasons that keep flowing through all our lives.
